A number of opportunities now exist in our Private Clients team. Ideally, applicants will be at least 2 years work experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
In these role you should be able to:
* Prepare special purpose financial statements and be able to analyse the results for clients
* Understand the legal and taxation issues associated with structures such as companies, trusts and self-managed super funds
* Prepare income tax returns and business activity statements
* Understand and utilise various accounting software packages
* Prepare periodic management accounts for clients
* Conduct and prepare some basic tax research and taxation advice
* Draft correspondence for key managerial staff within our client base
What you bring
To be successful in this role, your communications skills, integrity and trust will be paramount, coupled with your focus and commitment to clients. You will possess exceptional analytical and report writing skills with a consultative style and manner. You will be/have:
* Completed CA or CPA
* Exemplary Private Client accounting skills with exposure to tax and advisory services
* Good communication skills dealing with clients
* Able to delegate and manage junior staff
* Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
* Strong desire to learn and grow technically
