The company is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to work independently and be willing to keep learning.
The role includes:
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
* Programming and setting up CNC machines
* Writing and modifying CNC programs using G-code and other programming languages
* Performing quality control checks on machined parts using precision measuring tools
* Troubleshooting and solving problems with CNC machines and manual equipment
To be successful in this position, the candidate will need to have:
* A Turner/Metal Machinist Class 1/Cert III Engineering trade certificate or recognized equivalent
* Programming experience using CAD CAM software, the ability to use Fusion 360 is highly desirable
* Interpret drawings with an eye for detail
* Have a good attitude and be willing to keep learning
