Employment Type: Permanent Full Time Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 3 Remuneration: $71,072.43 - $73,287.41 per annum Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours) Location: Blacktown Hospital Where you'll be working Blacktown Hospital is a major metropolitan hospital delivering high quality care to a diverse community. Large multidisciplinary Imaging Department Supportive and collaborative team culture Exposure to advanced diagnostic services Opportunity to work across multiple campuses Commitment to safety quality and patient centred care What You'll Be Doing In this role you will provide professional front line administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of Imaging Services and an excellent patient experience. Deliver high quality reception and customer service Manage patient bookings scheduling and registration in RIS Transcribe medical reports using medical terminology Maintain accurate electronic and manual patient records Support billing stock control and general administration How To Apply Apply online by submitting your resume and addressing the criteria listed below by providing examples that demonstrate your ability before the closing date. Selection Criteria Display excellent communication skills, written and verbal, when dealing with patients and clients Demonstrated experience in administration and reception duties, including a busy phone system to provide a high level of customer service to patients, staff and other agencies across all areas such as handling enquiries from patients, Medical Staff, Emergency Department, Wards and patients requiring services and appointments High attention to detail, ensuring all patient information is recorded correctly for clinical, statistical and billing purposes, whilst maintaining a continuous high standard of confidentiality Knowledge of medical terminology and accurate typing skills. Demonstrated experience using a variety of data, record keeping and computer-based information systems and electronic health record systems.
