Job Overview
* We are seeking a highly skilled Mine Site Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day quarry operations, ensuring full compliance with safety and environmental requirements.
* You will be responsible for supervising and supporting staff and contractors, maintaining a proactive safety culture and overseeing production, maintenance planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Your role will involve managing crushing and screening, drill and blast, loadout, and quarry development, as well as preparing and managing performance targets.
* You will conduct audits, training, and toolbox meetings to ensure compliance and build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and the local community.
About You
* You must hold a Quarry Manager's Certificate, or sufficient experience to obtain one.
* Proven experience in quarry operations, mining, or heavy industry leadership is essential.
* A strong understanding of drill & blast, crushing and screening, and quarry development is required.
* You should have knowledge of Safety Management Systems and relevant WHS legislation.
* Excellent communication and people management skills are crucial.
* You should have financial acumen with experience managing budgets and P&L.
* A practical, hands-on leadership style with a focus on results and safety is necessary.
