Build your impact in a hands-on, commercially focused finance role
We are looking for a capable and proactive Accountant to join our team in Pinjarra. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across the full finance function, partnering with stakeholders, and driving improvements in systems and processes.
Reporting to the Group Finance Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations across multiple entities.
About the role
This is a broad, end-to-end accounting role where you will be responsible for:
* Managing month-end close processes across multiple entities
* Preparing management reports, including budget vs actual vs forecast analysis
* Supporting group reporting and cost-to-complete (CTC) processes
* Performing reconciliations, journals, accruals, and prepayments
* Overseeing cashflow, treasury, and working capital management
* Coordinating BAS, PAYG, FBT, payroll tax, and statutory compliance
* Supervising payroll, accounts payable and receivable processes
* Supporting audit preparation and internal controls
* Maintaining fixed assets, inventory, and insurance records
* Driving process improvements and system enhancements (Xero, SimPro, Calxa)
You will also work closely with internal stakeholders across operations, as well as external partners including auditors, banks, insurers, and service providers.
What You will Bring
We are looking for someone who is hands-on, detail-oriented, and commercially minded, with:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
* Strong experience in end-to-end accounting within a commercial or group environment
* Solid understanding of Australian tax and statutory requirements
* Experience with management reporting and financial analysis
* Exposure to CTC reporting or project-based environments (highly regarded)
* Advanced Excel skills and experience with Xero (essential)
* Strong communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
