As a key member of the Work Health Safety & Wellbeing (WHSW) team, you will be instrumental in creating a safe and nurturing working environment for the agency's staff. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise and positively impact the lives of those we serve.
**Role Details**
- Location: Robina, QLD
- Duration: Up to 12 months, temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension based on business requirements
- Hourly Rate: $60 + per hour + superannuation
**Role Responsibilities**
- Offer technical WHS advice to support the various business functions.
- Take a leading role in implementing the agency's WHS Management System.
- Manage and provide guidance on incident responses, including coordinating investigations.
- Undertake and/or review hazard and risk assessments, while coordinating their development and maintenance.
- Prepare briefs, reports, meeting papers, and other materials related to WHS management within the Agency.
- Provide WHS advice on complex and sensitive staffing matters as required.
**Role Requirements**
- ** Must be an Australian Citizen**:
- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive WHS advice and assistance, including knowledge of legislative compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels, using appropriate oral and written formats.
- Certificate level qualification in work health and safety or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Experience in corporate-level WHS operations would be advantageous.
