Rise with Westin Perth
The Westin Perth is a luxury retreat, perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. A rejuvenating haven with luxuryaccommodation, 5-star amenities and a dynamic City Centre location. We expect this role to commence in the newyear.

You will:
Handle local corporate, social catering and wedding opportunities that come directly to the property.

Identify, qualify and solicit new catering business to achieve personal and property revenue goals.

Execute and support the operational aspects of business including generating proposals, writing contracts andcustomer correspondence.

Provide exceptional customer service in person, over the phone and via email.

Conduct site inspections,

Contract and close business and deliver a seamless turnover from sales to event planning while consistentlydelivering a high level of service.

Understand the overall market and competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and knows how to sell againstthem.

Close the best opportunities for the property based on market conditions and property needs.

Use negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts.

Maximize revenue through up-selling on packages.

Assist with selling, implementation and follow-through of catering promotions.

You are / have:
Friendly, confident, vibrant and professional personality

Previous experience is desirable, and ideally in hotels, event sales or events planning.

Full Time Australian working rights
