Our services are provided at sites across greater Sydney including the Blue Mountains. About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Site Manager, with solid experience in complex behaviours, for two of our sites in Katoomba, Blue Mountains. Reporting to the Regional Manager you will manage and lead the day to day operations in two 24/7 Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. With your strong coaching and mentoring skills, you will support a team of Disability Support Workers to develop and implement best practice. Responsibilities include: Coordination of the care and services to the people we support in our SIL home. Striving to achieve the goals set by the people we support and ensuring they have a say in their services and have choice and control in their own home. Coordination of SIL home resources, including shared spaces, assets and vehicles. Leading safe work practices at your site with a risk awareness and management focus. Ensuring all documentation is current and relevant plans are in place. Managing key stakeholder relationships. Day to day management of operations in the SIL homes (or equivalent). On call support (shared roster approx. 2 to 3 times a year) About you You are motivated, resilient, and a caring leader who wants to support your team to provide services to people with a disability who have complex needs. You want to ensure the people we support achieve their best life ensuring they have choice and control. You are commercially savvy and understand the need to balance quality service provision with the delivery of serviceable hours and ratios that are contracted by the person we support. You enjoy a challenge and are not afraid of change and working through complex situations and issues. You are striving for continuous improvement and delivering high quality services. You are a great communicator and invest in developing great stakeholder relationships. Essential Leadership experience providing care services in the disability, health or community sector. Solid experience in managing complex behaviours. Confidence and ability to coach and mentor staff to reach their full potential, while providing active support to customers with complex behaviours of concern. Demonstrate good analytical and creative problem-solving skills. Strong computer/technology skills, written and verbal communication skills. Strong stakeholder relationship building skills. Preferred Certificate IV in Disability or similar Successful applicants will require a valid NSW Drivers licence and a current First Aid Certificate. An offer will be subject to a police clearance, a pre employment medical and a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
