supports the development of highly adaptable skilled people,
supported by an accessible and seamless training system, to
contribute to a successful economy.
The
Principal Quality and Compliance Officer plays a key role in
assuring the quality and integrity of South Australia's
vocational education and training market to support public
confidence in the system and its skills and training
outcomes.
Within
this context the Principal Quality and Compliance Officer provides
high level and strategic advice to manage and mitigate quality and
compliance risks and leads the development, implementation and
continuous improvement of best practice quality and compliance
processes and practices.
Key
Competencies: To apply
and succeed in the role, you will have: Detailed knowledge of compliance, audit and risk principles, methodologies, and best practice and relevant government policies, practices and procedures.
High level knowledge of state and national vocational education and training systems and structures and the issues and challenges impacting on State and national skills policies, programs and services.
Extensive experience in providing timely and sound strategic advice on significant and complex issues, including preparing reports, briefings and presentations.
Demonstrated strategic, innovative and improvement-focused thinking including expertise in designing, planning and implementing quality and compliance strategies, programs and operations using best practice methodologies and models.
Remuneration: Competitive salary
$121,107 to $125,679 max pa plus superannuation.
