 
        
        Job Title: Pump Technician
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pump Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking planned maintenance and inspection activities, inspecting and testing pumping systems, equipment, and components, ensuring all equipment is maintained within manufacturers' specifications, responding to unplanned maintenance, breakdowns, and call-outs, and undertaking fault finding and taking corrective actions.
The ideal candidate will have electrical, fitter, or plumbing trade qualifications, poly welding qualification, telehandler ticket, competent understanding of dewatering and pumping, current C-Class Western Australian Drivers Licence, and industry certificates including High Risk Work License, Elevated Work Platform, Forklift (LF), WAH, and Confined Spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
 * Undertake planned maintenance and inspection activities daily to maintain all dewatering and site infrastructure.
 * Inspect and test pumping systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment and repair.
 * Ensure all equipment is maintained within the manufacturers' specifications and to enable high levels of availability.
 * Respond and attend to unplanned maintenance, breakdowns, and call-outs.
 * Undertake fault finding and take corrective actions.
 * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other contractors and suppliers.
 * Establish and maintain effective working relationships with the Stores and Underground personnel to ensure optimum equipment performance and availability.
 * Ensure that all workshop, facilities, and equipment are maintained in good working order.
 * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, industry standards, and statutory requirements.
 * Assist with ad hoc Telehandler duties.
 * Undertake scheduled and breakdown maintenance at Riverina village, offices, and non-production infrastructure.
 * Conduct audits for work required to identify maintenance requirements of non-production infrastructure.
 * Complete appropriate paperwork including work orders.
 * Assist with other projects on site.
 * Assist with repairs and maintenance of other water assets on site when requested.
 * Other duties as required.
