About the Role:
The Print Operator/Production Assistant is a key member of the operations team and is responsible for manufacturing products. With a focus on operating a flatbed printer and hot & cold laminator, the Printer Operator / Sign Manufacturer works collaboratively with other team members to manufacturer Signpac’s products.
You will have:
* Experience and exposure to all parts of the production process, including printing, manufacturing, dispatching and installations, within the signage industry.
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in operating machinery competently, including; flatbed printers (ideally HP flatbed), laminators, routers.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with customers and team members.
* High level of computer literacy, with intermediary skills in MS Word and Outlook, coupled with experience in management information systems.
* Experience in working cooperatively with team members to ensure adherence to business processes and workflows.
* Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, including the ability to design and implement improvements.
* Ideally, experience with Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to perform pre-press.
* Ideally, tertiary qualifications in sign writing.
