We have 22 years of successful construction delivery and as we continue to grow, we have a rare opportunity available for an experienced Site Foreman to be part of our hardworking and dedicated Build team.
The successful candidate will be working on a diverse range of commercial construction projects valued from $5m to $50m+ and will report directly to the Project Manager.
This is a full-time role requiring a high calibre individual with On-Site experience.
Responsibilities
Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and safety outcomes.
Coordinate trades on site and work with the site manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards.
Coordinate the relationships between various trades and ensure subcontractors carry out work safely and efficiently.
Maintain Alder's strong reputation at all times.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and to our high standards.
Participate in regular WHS inspections and injury/incident investigations to maintain a healthy and safe work environment.
Ensure environmental controls are suitable, implemented, monitored and reviewed.
Review, understand and input to all subcontractor and supplier scope of works.
Organise completion of defect works in a timely manner.
Participate in lesson-learned sessions to continuously improve the performance of the overall company team.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a similar site management role in class 2-9 construction as defined under the Building Code of Australia (BCA).
Relevant trade background and competencies.
Open Builders Supervision license issued by QBCC.
Excellent communication skills – both oral and written.
Willingness to lead and motivate team members; enthusiastic, self-motivated and quality driven.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Commitment and understanding of the importance of time and financial goals.
Good computer/mobile device skills for daily use of programs & apps (e.g. Procore).
