Make an impact at Serco
Service Technicians support hospital staff and users across Fiona Stanley Hospital (FSH), Fremantle Hospital, and satellite locations such as the FSH Medihotel and FSH Cockburn Mental Health facility. Their support includes AV equipment, Patient Entertainment systems (PES), remote monitoring and scheduling of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs), and maintenance of various FM-managed technical assets, including AV, PES, and AGV systems. Responsibilities include:
* Setting up and controlling portable and fixed audio-visual equipment
* Performing service upgrades, modifications, and patches, including testing and recommissioning
* Troubleshooting system errors remotely and providing Level 1 and 2 support; raising fault reports for repairs
* Attending reactive callouts in patient rooms, clinical, and meeting spaces, interacting with patients and clinicians
* Supporting the wider DTS team’s objectives at Fiona Stanley Hospital and FSH Cockburn Health campuses

You should have proven expertise in customer interactions and a strong commitment to resolving issues. Skills in technical problem-solving and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential. To succeed, you’ll need:
* Knowledge of digital and high-definition systems, including HD projection and video distribution
* Knowledge of media/content platforms, such as Video Asset Management and Content Management Systems; familiarity with IPTV, codecs, encoding/transcoding, video formats, and file workflows
* High-level computer skills, digital media, web, and editing experience (highly regarded)
* An understanding of system schematics and operation manuals
* Basic troubleshooting skills for ICT networks
Desirable qualifications include:
* AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist
* Crestron certification or experience with third-party control systems
* Familiarity with ICT Networked Audio-Visual Systems
* ITIL Certification
