Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial assets. You'll join a supportive team and play an important role in maintaining strong building performance and smooth day to day operations.
Your new role
You will manage the daily operations of a commercial property portfolio, including tenant management, financial oversight, facilities coordination and compliance. This role requires someone who is organised, confident and experienced in commercial property management.
Key responsibilities include
Managing lease reviews, renewals, assignments, make good processes and general lease compliance.
Coordinating repairs, maintenance and operational works, including emergencies and essential service.
Maintaining accurate tenancy schedules and ensuring the portfolio meets legislative requirements.
Building positive tenant relationships and providing regular updates to internal stakeholders.
Preparing monthly reports, budgets, forecasts, outgoings estimates and reconciliation.
Monitoring arrears and supporting overall financial performance of the asset.
Overseeing contractors, conducting inspections and ensuring buildings are well presented and compliant.
Managing safety documentation, insurance compliance, incident reporting and preventative maintenance.
Keeping certifications and licences up to date, tracking tenant requests and monitoring contractor performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience as a Senior Property Manager.
Minimum 6+ years' experience in commercial property management.
Strong knowledge of facilities management and contractor coordination.
Solid financial skills including budgeting, forecasting and reconciliations.
Experience working with corporate or high level clients.
Confidence leading meetings with owners, tenants and strata managers.
High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions focused approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to support junior team members.
