Narrabeen Sands Hotel by Nightcap Plus is a 4.5 star hotel with 47 rooms, located on Sydney's beautiful Northern Beaches. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, customer focussed and career minded individual to join the Narrabeen Sands Hotel Team, as a Room Attendant / Cleaner (Casual).
- The Role in our Housekeeping Department at Narrabeen Sands Hotel is to go the "extra mile" for our guests and ensure that all rooms and public areas are kept up to the highest standard and ensure that all guests' needs are delivered throughout their stay.
What we're looking for:
- Previous Housekeeping experience in a similar role in a 4 star hotel
- To clean and service guest rooms, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and attention to detail are maintained.
- Be able to work with a variety of tasks in the Housekeeping Department
- Must have a pro active approach to Occupational Health & Safety and Security policies and procedures
- Personality and an enthusiastic team player, who is trustworthy & honest
- Flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster, including a variety of hours/days, weekends and public holidays (up to 38 hours per week available)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good time management and the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enjoy working autonomously and in a team environment
- Excellent presentation
The position will involve a 7 day rotating roster (up to 38 hours per week available), including weekends and public holidays. Previous experience in a similar role within a 4 star hotel would be an advantage, however full training will be provided to the successful applicant.
The Room Attendant role is a physically demanding role that requires an energetic and enthusiastic person who is ready and willing to work as part of a team. It also requires close liaison with the Front Office Department and Front Office & Reservations Manager.
