Disability Support Worker
We're seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to support a customer with daily living tasks, enabling them to live an independent and holistic life. This role is centered around providing assistance with everyday activities, personal care, and supporting the customer to participate in activities outside their home environment.
The successful candidate will have a minimum qualification of a Certificate III in Individual Support and at least one year of experience as a Disability Support Worker. They will also possess NDIS Clearance, First Aid certification, and National police clearance or be willing to obtain these.
This is a flexible role with shifts available Monday to Sunday. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when interacting with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing support in everyday daily activities around the home
* Providing support with hygiene and personal care
* Assistance, support, and chaperoning activities outside the home environment
* Assisting with medication compliance which may include the dispensation of prescription medication
* Meal assistance which may include meal preparation
