We are searching for an exceptional Centre Director who possesses the passion and qualifications to lead with distinction. Ideally, you bring 2 to 5 years of previous experience in a leadership role, with a preference for a Director position and hold ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teaching qualifications. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the centre supported by a full‐time assistant director.
- Support educators in planning and implementing quality programs using your knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
- Ensure the centre is consistently well presented and offers a safe and welcoming environment.
- Maintain administrative procedures including rosters, payroll, attendance records and enrolments.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations.
- Collaborate and support the ongoing development of each team member.
- Maintain and manage resources across the centre.
- Ensure all health & safety benchmarks are maintained at the highest level.
- Initiate and participate in key events, parent‐teacher evenings, centre tours and social/fundraising events.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Have at least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role.
- Hold an ACECQA recognised Early Childhood Teachers Degree or be diploma qualified.
- Possess current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma & Anaphylaxis qualifications.
- Hold a current Working with Children Check and Child Protection Certificate.
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrate leadership experience and skills.
- Be a confident leader who can drive cultural change and develop a high‐performing team.
- Have a caring disposition and a positive attitude.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, and staff members.
- Possess a passion, enthusiasm, and a genuine love of working with children.
- Desirable: sound understanding of CCS, proficiency in funding programs, and experience in assessment and rating process in a leadership capacity.
