Job Description
As an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (Wellness Advisor), you'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team that lives our values of Integrity, Compassion, Determination and Thriving Together.
You will bring clinical expertise, compassion, and practical problem‑solving skills to help clients overcome psychosocial and mental health challenges that may be impacting their ability to find or sustain employment. Your work will contribute to stronger wellbeing, stability and long‑term independence for clients across the community.
In This Role, You Will:
Conduct psychosocial and mental health assessments to identify barriers and strengths
Provide evidence based counselling and brief interventions (e.g.CBT-informed approaches, strengths-based practice, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing)
Deliver psychoeducation and practical strategies to support wellbeing and resilience
Support clients to sustain employment and navigate workplace challenges
Liaise with medical practitioners, community organisations, and external services
Work closely with Job Coaches and internal partners to support clients' goals
Maintain accurate case notes and documentation in line with quality and compliance standards
Contribute to training, wellbeing, and capacity building initiatives for staff and employers‑building initiatives for staff and employers
Qualifications
You will bring:
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (AMHSW) status or eligibility for this level
Strong clinical judgement and experience in psychosocial assessment
Experience working with complex presentations and diverse client groups
Commitment to evidence-based practice and client-centred care‑based practice
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Good organisational and reporting abilities
A current Australian driver's licence
