Desktop Engineer/ Associate Service Desk Analyst - M365, Powershell

One of Australia's most progressive Federal Government departments is looking to engage a Desktop Engineer to provide technical support and maintenance across the organisation's desktop environment. The successful Desktop Engineer will manage application packaging and deployment, troubleshooting hardware and software issues to support Microsoft Intune and SCCM environments. The successful Desktop Engineer will be offered an initial contract until 30 June, with a 6 month extension option.
The successful Desktop Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:
* Building and deploying Windows devices using Intune and Standard Operating Environment (SOE) configurations.
* Ensuring policies align with organisational security standards and operational needs.
* Diagnosing and resolving complex ICT incidents and problems related to network, authentication, and policy conflicts.
* Support BitLocker encryption, AppLocker/WDAC policies, and endpoint protection strategies.
The successful Desktop Engineer will have experience in the following:
* Demonstrated experience working with M365 Apps.
* Proven experience in application packaging.
* Strong skills in PowerShell scripting.
* Advanced Level 3 troubleshooting skills.
