Operations Supervisor – Day – Permanent Full Time role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Operations Supervisor to lead, develop and supervise our Operations Site Services team to ensure safe work practices, minimise operational delays, and maintain high levels of operational readiness.

Located 38 kilometres south of Mackay, DBCT operates with a nameplate capacity of 85 million tonnes per annum, exporting coal from Central Queensland to customers around the globe. Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support the Site Services team to deliver safe, compliant, and efficient terminal operations and foster a positive workplace culture.
* Coordinate personnel and resources to execute coal recovery and recovered coal management, shutdown cleaning activities and road and ground maintenance.
* Drive a strong safety culture through visible leadership, audits, and incident response.
* Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and operational standards and procedures.
* Provide supervision to personnel (including contractors) for the execution of work activities, ensuring activities are brought in on budget, on time and meet business requirements as per the operations and asset management strategies.
About You
You are a confident and proactive leader who thrives in a dynamic, high''risk industrial environment. You bring strong operational decision''making skills and a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
To be successful, you will ideally have:
* Experience in bulk materials handling, port operations, CHPP, mining or heavy industry
* Proven leadership capability within frontline operational workforces
* Strong organisational, problem''solving, and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and make sound, time''critical decisions
* A safety-first mindset and experience driving compliance and operational standards
