Disability Support Worker (Experienced Preferred)

About the Role
This position would be best suited to an experienced support worker who is confident working independently and supporting a participant who requires mild personal care, alongside community access and in-home supports.
Our key focus is community participation and skill development in the home. You'll be supporting individuals to build independence, confidence and meaningful connections, while ensuring their personal care and daily needs are met safely and respectfully.
Your role will include:
* Providing community access, including attending activities, appointments and outings
* Transport to appointments, shopping and community activities
* Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry and general home organisation
* Providing mild personal care, including support with personal hygiene as required
* Encouraging independence while providing appropriate assistance
* Maintaining professional boundaries, clear communication and positive working relationships
* Working within your scope of practice, training and experience
What We're Looking For
* Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker (preferred)
* Ability to work independently, confidently and reliably
* Strong communication skills and a calm, respectful approach
* Initiative and problem-solving skills
* Current driver's licence
* First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
* NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
