Safety Manager required to oversee the implementation of safety protocols on the Cunningham Highway Restoration project.
The role involves monitoring compliance with safety systems and procedures, providing operational support to the project management team, and facilitating site inductions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans to mitigate risks.
2. Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards.
3. Provide training and guidance to supervisors, contractors, and workers on WHS practices and procedures.
4. Investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions.
5. Review and update safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with WHS regulations.
6. Collaborate with the project management team to develop and implement safety plans.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of WHS practices, standards, and codes.
* Ability to develop and implement effective safety protocols.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications:
* Cert IV in WH&S (minimum), Bachelor of WH&S highly regarded.
* Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.
* Driver's License.
* General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
