Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the preparation and production of various menu items.
* Follow recipes and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
* Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
* Learn and develop culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
* Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies.
* Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and oversee food preparation.
* Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
* E nsure all dishes meet high standards of quality and presentation.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Manage inventory, order supplies, and minimize waste to optimize kitchen efficiency.
About You
We are looking for individuals with a culinary degree or relevant training, who are comfortable in Grill, Pans, and Fryer sections. Previous experience in a hotel or banquets environment is an advantage. A passion for culinary arts and creativity in the kitchen is essential, as is strong communication and teamwork skills. Evening and weekend availability is required.
