Job Details:Our client in New South Wales are looking for a Lead Vet Surgeon to join their team. They are a small animal hospital that currently offers a walk-in service to their clients, a free wildlife service, cat boarding and a puppy preschool. Our client are making some necessary changes including a fresh, current look by way of a clinic refurbishment and they will transition to appointment scheduling.
As the Lead Vet, you will lead a passionate team to deliver personalised, professional and dedicated care to their patients and their owners. You will be responsible for the management and supervision of the financial and clinical function of the business. You will have the opportunity to really make it your own with a wide support network.
Our clients team enjoys building relationships and their caring approach allows them to understand their client's needs. Our client base is small animals, exotic pets, birds and native animals.
Popular with families, the area has lots of parks and is a short drive to the beaches and has a great community feel.
What you will bring:
Bachelor of Veterinary Science + current NSW Veterinary Board Registration or eligibility for veterinary board registration in Australia
Proven veterinary experience within a senior role will be highly regarded but not mandatory - they will consider an experienced vet looking for the next step in their career
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanour
