**Omni is looking for an experienced Field Training Exercise Planner to join the team. Working alongside Defence, this position will provide support to the design, planning and conduct of exercises.**

**Position Summary**:The Field Training Exercise (FTX) Planner will be a generalist in FTX design within the ADF. The FTX Planner will support the Joint Collective Training Branch in planning, coordinating, and scripting activities that exercise training audience staff at all levels in a coherent manner to achieve a desired effect.
**Duty Profile**:
- Coordinate exercise activities and events
- Develop supporting documentation, presentations and briefings
- Support resource allocation
- Leading and coordinating exercise design, planning and conduct, and post-exercise events
- Other tasks as directed
**Qualifications, skills and experience**:
**Essential**:
- Hold and maintain a minimum of a Negative Vetting 2 Australian Government Security Clearance
- Defence experience, particularly in exercise planning
**Desirable**:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to maintain positive and effective stakeholder relationships at all organisational levels
- Experience in effective communication with technical staff across the multi-disciplines within the division and client site
- Demonstrated ability to present, influence, effectively negotiate, and lead and effect change
- Strong written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to produce clear and concise administrative and task related documentation
- Minimum seven (7) years experience working in Defence
- Client and/or industry related qualifications and/or education specific to the contracted deliverables
- Formal training and certification in a recognised project management methodology such as Agile, Prince2 or PMBOK.
