About the Role
* Full time position
* 8/6 FIFO/DIDO roster
* All training provided
* Salary-based position
* 100% site-based role within Australia
Key Responsibilities
* Travel to various mine sites across WA (FIFO/DIDO) and conduct underground audits of submersible pump systems
* Work with site electrical, service, and maintenance teams to locate and access the underground pump fleet (1,200+ pumps)
* Use a tablet and SafetyCulture iAuditor software to complete asset inspections, including recording pump asset numbers, taking photos, and documenting condition and operational status
* Travel underground to all active pump locations as part of the audit process
* Maintain accurate records and notes using Excel spreadsheets
* Communicate findings with site teams and report operational issues or maintenance concerns back to the pump department in Perth for continuous improvement
Requirements
* Mechanical Aptitude (preferred)
* Pumping and associated equipment experience
* Current WA Driver's Licence
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen
* Current National Police Clearance
* Must have full Australian Working Rights
