About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to fill a critical position in our Finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of payroll services, including processing superannuation and salary sacrifice contributions.
Key responsibilities include:
* Checking and paying internal commissions and maintaining accurate account balances
* Calculating, reporting, and paying PAYG Withholding and Payroll Tax
* Assisting with annual tasks such as PAYG Payment Summaries, Taxable Payments Report, Q Leave, Payroll Tax, Annual Return, and assisting with year-end audit as required
* Assisting Accounts Payable processing as needed
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Minimum 2-3 years' experience managing end-to-end processes in payroll
* Demonstrated experience in managing superannuation, salary sacrifice, and contributions
* Strong understanding of corporate-level payroll functions for a multi-entity structure, strong financial acumen, and PAYG technical skills
* Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organisational skills
* Intermediate skills with Excel
Experience with Jobpac is highly desirable.
