Take the next step in your accounting career and join a great team in the Liverpool Plains. Council is seeking a switched-on self-starter to take on our Management Accountant position.
Your daily duties will entail preparing and managing budgets, providing financial information to managers and assisting the finance team. Your responsibilities include the preparation of the annual budget, statement of revenue policy, fees and charges and assisting with the long-term financial plan. Your excellent customer service and time management skills will assist you in handling financial enquiries and providing timely information.

The Liverpool Plains Shire Council is a diverse organisation employing over 120 staff across a wide variety of fields who deliver a range of services to the local government area encompassing Blackville, Caroona, Currabubula, Pine Ridge, Premer, Quirindi, Spring Ridge, Wallabadah, Werris Creek and Willow Tree and the almost 8000 residents who reside there.
The council is situated in Quirindi, the heart of the Liverpool Plains, four hours North West of Sydney, famous for its stunning landscapes and rich, highly productive land and is the perfect place to call home.
WHAT WE OFFER YOU
We offer a salary starting at $97,806 - $125,195 gross per annum plus 12% superannuation. The starting salary will be negotiated with the successful applicant dependent on skills, knowledge and experience relevant to the position.
