Job Description

Location: Preference to Whyalla or within 80km of Whyalla, South Australia. Other sites with the organisational footprint may be considered for the right person

Status: Full Time/ Part Time negotiable (0.8 FTE minimum)

Annual Salary: Negotiated individual agreement in accordance with your qualifications and experience, with access to salary packaging plus a fully maintained vehicle

About the Position

As Executive Manager Services, you will be a key member of Centacare Catholic Country SA's Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. You will lead service delivery and development across our regional footprint, manage a team of Regional Managers, and drive strategic growth aligned with Catholic Social Teaching.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to influence sector-wide initiatives, represent Centacare at high-level forums, and shape the future of social services in regional, rural, and remote communities.

As Executive Manager Services, you will:

* Provide executive leadership across service delivery and development
* Identify and pursue strategic business and funding opportunities
* Represent Centacare at senior levels across government, industry, and community sectors
* Lead and mentor a team of Regional Managers across multiple service areas
* Oversee tender and grant submissions
* Contribute to workforce planning and organisational strategy
* Act as CEO when required

About You

To be successful in this role you be a visionary leader with:

* A tertiary qualification in social sciences/human services
* Minimum 5 years' leadership experience in the social services sector, ideally in a place-based delivery environment
* Proven business development and stakeholder engagement skills
* Experience in the preparation and submission of tenders, reviews and reports
* Experience advocating for social change and influencing policy
* High level of interpersonal, communication, negotiation and teambuilding skills
* Strategic thinking, planning and public speaking experience
* Strong alignment with Catholic Social Teaching and Centacare's mission

Requirements of the role:

* Hold (or willingness to obtain) a current DHS Working With Children Check *
* Hold (or a willingness to obtain) a National Criminal History Record Check (Police Check) *
* Be willing to undertake a Psychological Suitability Assessment *
* Hold a current South Australian Driver's License (minimum Provisional License)
