About the role
In this role, you'll provide technical expertise across superannuation insurance products, investigating and resolving detailed and complex insurance enquiries. You'll work closely with peers, IT teams and fund clients to ensure insurance business rules are correctly applied, issues are identified early, and product quality is consistently maintained.
This role offers a strong blend of BAU technical analysis and involvement in change activities such as product enhancements, migrations, testing and insurance‐related projects.
Key responsibilities
* Investigate, analyse and resolve complex insurance and data‐related enquiries in line with fund business rules and SLAs
* Analyse insurance products and requirements to ensure accurate application of business rules and superior client outcomes
* Design, execute and support quality assurance activities to maintain product integrity across funds
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and client experience
* Participate in PVT testing for system releases, patches, and insurance‐related enhancements
* Collaborate with IT teams to deliver practical, cost‐effective solutions that meet client and regulatory requirements
* Support audits and governance activities, working with internal teams, funds and external auditors as required
* Assist with insurance‐related projects including product changes, transitions and functional specification reviews
About you
You're a detail‐oriented analyst who enjoys working with complex insurance data and business rules, and you're comfortable balancing operational delivery with change and improvement initiatives.
You'll bring:
* Experience within the superannuation industry, ideally with exposure to insurance products
* Proven experience in business analysis or technical analysis within financial services
* Confidence working with data, reports and analytical tools to identify issues and trends
* Strong understanding of risk, governance and compliance requirements
* Excellent organisational and time‐management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
* A collaborative mindset and a strong sense of ownership for deliverables and outcomes
* High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and accuracy
