Our client, a specialist underwriting agency, is seeking a dynamic individual to join their team as a Team Leader in their Underwriting area.
Role Overview:
As the Team Leader, you will lead a small team, overseeing day-to-day operations and driving performance excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
* Expand the client portfolio by enhancing new business conversion rates, quality metrics, retention rates, and revenue generation
* Mentoring and developing staff within your team to foster growth and enhance skill sets.
* Implementing performance management strategies to optimise team efficiency and productivity.
* Ensuring KPI's within your team are met or exceeded
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Proven experience in leading sales and customer service teams within the General Insurance sector (not Life or Health Insurance)
* Previous experience in Property Insurance, preferred but not essential
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Strong organisational abilities with a keen attention to detail
* Process improvement skills will be highly regarded
* Experience managing staff in a fast-paced environment, with a strong track record in meeting and exceeding set targets
