**About the role**
As a Home Care Worker, you will have a varied and rewarding role. Working alongside aged care consumers with differing support needs, you will provide them with the appropriate support to achieve their goal of living independently within their own home.
The types of support provided include:
- Personal care, including showering, dressing, continence care;
- Monitor and report any changes, uncharacteristic behaviours, and/or concerns regarding our clients' physical or emotional wellbeing or living environment;
- Assisting with medication (for qualified staff);
- Helping with cleaning, shopping, meal preparation and other light housework;
- Assisting with transport to appointments and undertaking personal shopping.
Our Home Care Brisbane team is servicing a large area: North of the Brisbane river to Morayfield and south of the Brisbane River to Windaroo and the bayside area. We have shifts available in many suburbs across the Greater Brisbane region. These positions also come with flexible working hours, come and have a chat about what would suit you
**About you**
You are caring, empathetic and seeking to make a difference. In addition, you are a confident relationship builder, as you will be a trusted person in our clients' homes.
To be suited to these positions, you will have:
- Experience in providing excellent customer service;
- Willingness to work across the Greater Brisbane area;
- A current driver's licence and fully insured and reliable vehicle for work purposes;
- Willingness to travel to our clients;
- Physical capacity to carry out the duties required, including house & manual work;
- Availability to work occasional weekends;
- Certificate III in Individual Support is desired, however, if you are currently studying towards your qualification we'd love to hear from you too.
