Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator
We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Coordinator to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience in financial operations, specifically in fee proposal process management, project set up and management, contract negotiation, interpretation, and execution, billing processes, accounts payable and receivable, budgeting, and financial data analysis.
The role involves working closely with project teams, staff, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless financial operations and timely delivery of projects.
Responsibilities:
* Financial Operations Management: Assist project teams with fee proposal process for new projects; support staff with project set up and management in project management software.
* Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiation, interpretation, and execution.
* Billing and Accounts: Manage billing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness; manage accounts payable and receivable.
* Financial Planning: Oversee budgeting processes, including development, implementation, and review of budgets.
* Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, forecast future needs, and support strategic decision-making.
About You:
* You will have experience in specific project finance responsibilities or strong accounts experience in a project-based firm. Strong attention to detail, excellent relationship-building skills, ability to work autonomously, Xero experience, and long-term commitment (8+ months) without visa restrictions are essential.
