The position involves hands-on tasks using plant and equipment while ensuring safety standards and procedures are followed at all times.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct road and infrastructure maintenance, including patching, slashing, drainage repairs, and tree work.Operate hand tools, mowers, chainsaws, and other plant and equipment with competency.Ensure safe work practices, complete risk assessments, and follow OH&S guidelines and procedures.Maintain signage, participate in after-hours works, and carry out plant maintenance and other assigned duties.About youThe ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently.
Physical fitness and a commitment to safety are essential in this hands-on role.
Experience in civil construction & maintenance desirable.Key SkillsStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving abilities with both colleagues and the public.Physically fit for outdoor work in all conditions and committed to OH&S in high-risk environments.Operating small trucks and plant, experience in road maintenance desirable.Certificate III in Civil Construction desirable but not essential.Mandatory Checks and Pre-employment Requirements2 x Reference ChecksCurrent Driver's LicenceNational Police CheckFunctionality AssessmentInterested?
