This role is pivotal to the safe, efficient, and commercially sound delivery of shutdowns, installations, and site-based projects across all stages—from initiation and planning through to execution and closeout.
As a Project Engineer at RCR, you'll be instrumental in ensuring technical, financial, and operational success while upholding our commitment to safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities: Support planning and delivery of fixed plant shutdowns and installations.
Prepare and review scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and methodologies.
Monitor project milestones and critical path activities.
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards.
Develop and review technical documentation and vendor deliverables.
Manage technical queries and non-conformances during execution.
Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Assist in tendering, estimating, and proposal preparation.
Liaise across project teams, clients, vendors, and engineering staff.
Promote strong client relationships and alignment of expectations.
Provide technical support to site supervisors and participate in client reporting.
Ensure adherence to QA/QC, HSEQ, and project governance standards.
Monitor project costs and support financial reviews and variation claims.
Coordinate procurement with supply chain and project managers.
