**The Role**
The Legal Advisor (HM4) provides high level legal advice in relation to a range of issues encountered in Justice Health and Forensic Mental Health Network (Justice Health NSW) concerning and not limited to coronial matters, general litigation, institutional risk, governance, privacy, related legislation, and general issues concerning the correctional and judicial systems associated with correctional health and forensic mental health, and the provision of education in these areas

- This position requires someone with a current legal certificate and 4 years post admission experience in health law, criminal justice, or a directly related field, and who can conduct, manage, and coordinate complex coronial and health litigation matters on behalf of Justice Health NSW. - The role requires communication with senior Justice Health NSW clinical and corporate staff and external partners/stakeholders. Please outline the professional experience you have had to date involving communication, relationship building and problem solving with key internal and external stakeholders
- Provide an example of a time you demonstrated excellent conceptual and analytical skills to a legal problem and were able to provide practical advice to your client to address the problem.
- This role will involve supporting staff in preparing for court appearances, including subpoena and practical arrangements, witness preparation for giving of evidence, psychosocial safety of witnesses. Please provide evidence detailing your experience in this support delivery
