About the role
Clean Oil Services Pty Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Laboratory Technician to join our team in Caboolture, Queensland. As a full-time role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our state-of-the-art laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting a wide range of laboratory tests and analyses to support our oil and gas industry clients
* Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable results
* Documenting all test results and procedures in accordance with company policies and industry regulations
* Providing technical support and guidance to junior laboratory staff
* Collaborating with the broader team to identify process improvements and implement innovative solutions
* Adhering to strict health, safety and environmental protocols to protect our people and the environment
What we're looking for
* 8+ years of experience as a Laboratory Technician in the oil and gas industry
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant scientific discipline, such as chemistry or engineering
* Demonstrated expertise in a wide range of laboratory testing procedures and techniques
* Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and optimise processes
* Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records and data
* Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team
* Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and provide technical guidance
