This role is ideal for a confident practitioner who is ready to step into leadership, contribute to service development, and help guide the next generation of nurses and midwives. Working closely with the Nurse/Midwife Unit Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring consistent, coordinated care, supporting team performance, and contributing to effective ward or unit management. What We're Looking For: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, with at least 3 years (full time equivalent) post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife. Must be endorsed and credentialed in order to prescribe medications or to order diagnostics to the scope and context of their practice. Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel. Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice. Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
