About the role
We're seeking a Transport Driver/Supervisor for our transport team to ensure smooth, compliant delivery operations. This full‐time permanent role, Tuesday to Saturday, includes 2–3 days of local area truck driving throughout the week, with supervisory responsibilities across a small team of 2–3 drivers.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive MC/HC trucks 2–3 days per week and cover shifts when team members are absent for any reason.
* Support a team of 2–3 drivers, including training and performance management.
* Manage daily transport schedules and coordinate with internal departments.
* Induction of new staff, including SOP training; new and refreshers.
* Ensure compliance with CoR, NHVR, fatigue management and WHS standards.
* Oversee fleet maintenance, safety checks, and forklift operations as needed.
What You'll Need
* MC or HC truck licence (essential).
* Valid QLD forklift licence (essential).
* Proven experience in transport supervision or team leadership.
* Strong knowledge of transport regulations and scheduling systems.
* Excellent communication and problem‐solving skills.
