Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to work with clients who have sustained workplace injuries or injuries from motor vehicle accidents.
Main Responsibilities:
* Manage client caseloads effectively;
* Apply clinical knowledge to improve return-to-work outcomes;
* Develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees;
* Collaborate with injured workers, employers, medical professionals, and allied health experts to achieve successful rehabilitation outcomes;
* Work across various schemes, including workers compensation, compulsory third party, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs.
This is an excellent opportunity for new graduates to gain hands-on experience in the occupational rehabilitation sector.
Key Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiology registered with AHPRA or ESSA;
* Previous experience in Occupational Rehabilitation is highly valued;
* Fabulous communication skills to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders;
* Compassion and kindness to support clients throughout their recovery journey;
* Excellent time management skills to handle multiple priorities;
* A current NSW Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance.
