Appoint Recruit is seeking an experienced Surveyor to support a key transport infrastructure team on the Sunshine Coast. This contract opportunity will see you working across a range of road network projects, providing engineering survey services through the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, construction and asset management. You will work closely with project teams to deliver accurate, compliant and practical survey outcomes in line with relevant standards, policies and project requirements.
The Role
As Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering engineering survey services across a variety of transport infrastructure projects. Your work will support project delivery, technical decision‐making and the ongoing management of the road network.
Your Duties Will Include
* Performing engineering surveys across planning, design, construction and network management phases.
* Undertaking survey projects in line with relevant surveying standards, procedures and legislative requirements.
* Providing technical expertise and advice across geospatial and survey‐related matters.
* Supporting quality outcomes by identifying and addressing survey requirements throughout project delivery.
* Working with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
* Planning, assigning, coordinating and supervising work activities for team members where required.
* Supporting best‐practice, value‐for‐money and fit‐for‐purpose survey solutions.
About You
You will be an experienced Surveyor with strong technical knowledge, sound judgement and the ability to work across civil infrastructure or road network environments.
To Be Considered, You Will Need
* A minimum three‐year degree in Surveying from a recognised tertiary institution, or a qualification acceptable for registration as a Surveyor with the Surveyors Board of Queensland.
* Current Class C Driver Licence.
* Current CPR and First Aid certificate.
* Strong understanding of engineering survey practices, standards and project requirements.
* Ability to work with project teams, site personnel and technical stakeholders.
* Good communication skills and a practical, solutions‐focused approach.
* Willingness to travel to construction site offices as required.
Contract Details
* Location: North Coast Region, Queensland.
* Hours: Up to 38 hours per week.
* Working days: Monday to Friday.
* Standard working window: Between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
* Site travel: To be discussed and agreed upon appointment.
* Contract hourly rate: Competitive and based on experience and suitability.
