We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Recovery nurse to join our team
Northern Beaches Hospital is a dedicated facility serving our local community. It was thoughtfully designed to optimise patient safety and experience, while providing operational efficiencies that benefit everyone.

The Interventional Suite accommodates adult and paediatric patients for planned and unplanned procedures and/or surgery. It includes 14 state-of-the-art operating theatres, including a Hybrid theatre and a Cardiothoracic theatre; 2 Cardiac Catheter Labs; 4 procedure rooms; a 41-bed recovery unit; Anaesthetics Service; and a state-of-the-art Sterilising Services Department. The service operates 7 days a week, from 06:00 to 21:00 hrs.
You will bring to our high-performing team:
* Registered Nurse with AHPRA registration
* Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
* Postgraduate Certificate in perioperative nursing (or working towards)
* Understanding of ACCORN standards and infection control
* Minimum 2 years' experience in perioperative nursing as a Recovery/Anaesthetic Nurse
* Strong time management skills, initiative, collegiality, teamwork, and collaboration
* Previous experience in a private hospital setting is advantageous
* Flexibility with shift allocations, timing, and on-call duties during weekdays and on days off

If successful, the salary will be based on your relevant registered nursing experience, ranging from $35.46 to $49.79 per hour, in accordance with the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF Enterprise Agreement 2020–2024.
Applicants must provide a current (within 12 months) National Police check and NSW Working with Children's Check prior to appointment. Persons in patient contact roles will also need to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases before starting.
