Job Description
We are seeking a talented Strategic Policy Advisor to join our team in tackling serious and organised crime targeting Australia.
The role requires providing timely, considered high-order support in relation to strategically important matters that require broad agency consideration. This involves working closely with senior decision makers and across the organisation to provide advice, coordinate contributions to whole-of-government legislation and policy, and contribute to parliamentary and ministerial channels.
About the Role
As a key member of the Executive Branch, you will be responsible for advising senior decision makers on serious and organised crime impacting Australia. You will work closely with the ACIC Executive—and across the agency—to achieve organisational goals.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide strategic policy advice to senior decision makers
* Contribute to whole-of-government legislation and policy development
* Work closely with the Executive and across the agency to achieve organisational goals
* Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels
Requirements
Australian citizens are required for this role. You must also hold a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
