Job Title: Environmental Services Director
This role oversees the upkeep of communities ensuring continued health safety and cleanliness of residents families visitors and associates.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prioritize Servant Leadership qualities to lead the team effectively.
* Maintain appearance of interior and exterior spaces for comfort and use of residents families visitors and associates.
* Ensure all glass is clean water flowers and keep them healthy maintain clean and non-faded door mats keep doors presentable and in good working condition.
* Create a safe clean environment free of bacteria to reduce sickness and increase productivity.
* Operate within established guidelines to maintain high level of service quality.
* Assist with onboarding new hires and manage community housekeeping department under the Watercrest Housekeeping Handbook.
* Familiarize yourself with occupied and unoccupied apartments to ensure proactive turn process.
* Follow state regulations and company policies assist with surveys and inspections.
* Understand emergency procedures in the CEMP plan and assist in managing emergency situations including disasters fire and other emergencies.
* Stay updated on emergency and safety management materials assist with associate training know the fire safety program and equipment to assist with emergencies.
* Respond promptly to requests from residents families guests and associates.
* Inspect identify equipment or machines in need of repair plan repair work using building blueprints or equipment manuals as needed perform general repairs and routine maintenance on building systems.
* Assist with ordering supplies and materials needed for maintenance repairs and housekeeping needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Communicate effectively with all levels of management team members residents families guests vendors referral sources and outside contacts.
* Make independent educated decisions communicate in a warm friendly and caring manner.
* Adhere to Fair Housing Act FHA American with Disabilities Act ADA and general building code knowledge.
* Possess passion to work with and around seniors operate Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint and Outlook.
* Proven maintenance experience skilled with hand tools and power tools able to disassemble machines to replace parts read blueprints and repair manuals use precision measuring instruments or electronic testing devices.
* Strong follow-up skills eye for detail able to maintain focus while working independently follow supervisor instructions excellent organizational and time management skills.

* Must be physically able to climb ladders bend or crawl into awkward spaces.
* Able to talk and hear effectively to convey instructions prolonged periods of standing and walking lift up to 50 pounds.
Occupational Exposure / PPE:
* Environmental Services Technician may encounter skin eye mucous membrane or parenteral contact with potentially infectious materials wearing PPE is essential to safeguard against hazards.
