Infrastructure Advisor – Energy Lead Advisory
Overview
EY's Parthenon Energy Lead Advisory, part of Infrastructure Advisory, supports clients across the M&A lifecycle, from initial equity and debt raising to bid development and commercial negotiations. The work is diversified and varies depending on client requirements, including market entry studies and broad commercial advisory mandates.
Responsibilities
* Play a role in advising clients on acquisitions, finance raising and divestments, from single assets to whole companies.
* Develop and enhance a key understanding of the Australian Energy Market.
* Craft clear, well‐structured reports and presentations for various use cases and clients.
* Produce and analyse financial models to assist debt or equity capital processes and evaluate the value of assets and companies.
* Provide inputs into key legal and commercial documents required in a transaction environment.
* Work with other advisors (e.g., tax, legal) to achieve successful outcomes of a transaction.
* Contribute to business development through the production of marketing materials and high‐quality proposals.
* Foster meaningful relationships with clients and industry professionals.
* Provide insightful commercial, financial and strategic advice to a diverse client base.
Qualifications
* 3 to 5 years of relevant industry experience.
* Experience in transactions (acquisitions, financing, or divestments), the energy sector and financial modelling.
* A keen interest in tackling complex challenges that positively impact all Australians.
* Clear thinking and communication skills, with a knack for both quantitative and qualitative analysis.
* A proactive, positive attitude and a cooperative spirit.
