Role Purpose

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will assist in MediMap's continued growth and build impactful partnerships in the aged care sector. As a BDM, you'll drive our expansion through solution and value selling across Australia – leading the full sales cycle, from prospecting, business development and lead generation to closing deals and ensuring seamless onboarding.

This is a high-impact role focused on building strong relationships with individual and corporate aged care groups, as well as healthcare networks. Your insights and client feedback will also play a key role in shaping our product roadmap to meet the evolving needs of our industry.

Location: Post onboarding, we work in a hybrid Office/WFH model, offering flexible working arrangements are available from our office in Surry Hills, NSW 2010, close to public transport, and is surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Development Manager with a strategic mindset and a collaborative approach. Key competencies include:

* Sales experience – 3+ years of B2B software sales experience, with a proven track record of managing accounts, corporate relationships, or partnerships, specifically within the aged-care industry.
* Solution-selling expertise – Strong background in consultative, solution-based sales with a history of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
* Industry knowledge – Familiarity with the healthcare ecosystem, particularly within aged care and healthcare technology.
* Relationship management – Demonstrated ability to engage at multiple levels within client organisations and cultivate long-term partnerships.
* Results-driven – Proven ability to move prospects quickly through the sales funnel, identify opportunities, evaluate client needs, and close deals.
* Technical insight – Experience with SaaS, eMM, EMS or integration technology is advantageous.
* CRM proficiency – Experience using CRM systems with strong attention to detail in record-keeping and document management.
* Collaborative mindset – An excellent communicator at all levels of an organisation, with a strong understanding of how teamwork drives better outcomes.
* Technology-driven approach – Understanding of industry goals and processes, with insight into how technology can enhance outcomes for clients.
