We are a specialist program area of Corrections Victoria that provides offence-specific, evidence-based screening, assessment, and intervention services to support rehabilitation for people in custody and in the community. We hold expertise in areas such as Violent and Sexual offending, Violent Extremism, Restorative Justice, Family Violence, and cognitive impairment. We are seeking experienced professionals in psychology, social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy, counselling, or psychotherapy to join our forensic clinicians team. Forensic clinical experience is desirable but not essential.

As a forensic clinician, you will build on your existing expertise within a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based, best-practice forensic interventions in a supportive correctional environment. Working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model, your responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive risk assessments.
* Carrying out clinical interviews to develop person-centred rehabilitation pathways.
* Employing evidence-based assessment tools for treatment interventions.
* Leading individual and group treatment sessions.
* Preparing treatment plans, reports, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
To apply, you must hold, or be eligible for, one of the following:
* General registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA).
* Eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
* Credentialed as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses.
* Registered as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
* A master's degree in psychotherapy with registration with PACFA.
* A master's degree in counselling with membership or registration with ACA or PACFA.
