Job Description
The National Account Manager responsibilities include:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets within the FMCG industry.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders, particular with food distributors
* Work closely with the logistics team to ensure products are delivered to distributors
* Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and reduce cost
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
* Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals tailored to client needs.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
* Track sales performance and provide regular reports to management.
* Manage budgets and negotiate contracts in alignment with company policies.
The Successful Applicant
The National Account Manager should have:
* Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within the FMCG industry.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build client relationships.
* Ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
* Proficiency in analysing market trends and data to inform decision-making.
* Experience with CRM tools and sales tracking systems.
* Adaptability and a results-driven mindset.
