A professional family is seeking an experienced, calm, and proactive nanny to support the care of their young infant alongside assisting with personal assistant and household tasks. This position is based at the family’s office and would suit a candidate who is confident working collaboratively with a hands on parent.

Start: ASAP
Child: 1 (3 month old infant)
Schedule:
* Monday to Friday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
* (Occasional flexibility for earlier starts or later finishes, expected to be rare)
* Total: 30 hours per week
Role Overview:
This is a combined childcare and personal assistant role, with the mother present and actively involved throughout the day. The successful candidate will provide attentive support to ensure a smooth and well managed daily routine both for the child and the household.
Childcare Responsibilities:
* Supporting the care of a 3 month old baby with approximately four naps per day
* Assisting with feeding (breastfeeding support and/or bottle feeding expressed milk)
* Supporting sleep routines, including feeding to sleep and recognising sleep cues
* Settling the baby, including use of a carrier when required before transferring to a portacot
* Engaging in age appropriate interaction during awake windows
PA / Household Responsibilities (during nap times):
* Running errands as required
* Preparing lunch for parents
* Booking and managing appointments
* Light kitchen tidying and maintaining organisation within the office
* General administrative and ad hoc household support
About the Role:
* Office based position
* Mother is very hands on and will be present throughout shifts
* The family is not considering daycare and values personalised, attentive care
* Requires a candidate who is adaptable, organised, and comfortable balancing childcare with PA duties
Employment Details:
* $35 - $40 per hour + superannuation (varies based on experience).
* 6 month probation period (reviewed at the end of the 6 months)
* Formal employment contract in place through the family’s business. Paid directly by the family, not The Care Collective.
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years’ childcare experience, particularly with infants
* Valid Blue Card, First Aid and CPR certification
* Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle
* Strong organisational and multitasking skills
* Ability to work collaboratively with a parent in a shared care environment
* Professional, reliable, and proactive approach
