Aurizon's Trainee Operational Maintainer Traineeship offers hands-on experience in rail operations, allowing you to develop your skills and gain a nationally recognised qualification while working alongside experienced team members.
You will have the opportunity to undertake both classroom and on-the-job training, which will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to safely load and unload customer products, inspect rolling stock, and perform brake tests.
* A current C Class Driver's Licence is required for this role.
* A strong commitment to safety is essential for success in this position.
* Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills are also highly valued.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with colleagues.
* Flexibility to work day and night shifts (up to 12 hours) is also required.
